Telephone Hypnosis:
“That’s funny! You hypnotize people and you never see them?” A friend of mine once commented. “What is so funny? Their eyes are closed and so they are hearing better, aren’t they?” I responded.
Think about it for a moment, in hypnosis people are experiencing their own journey to their sub-conscious mind. This is done with their eyes closed and the voice of a trained therapist guiding them through positive suggestions. So a telephone session is more effective, to me.
Here is why.
1. You can save on money by saving on gas and commute time.
2. You are not stuck to the therapist in your town. You get to pick and choose from the world’s best.
3. After your session, you may:
a. carry on with your life,
b. sniggle in bed,
c. simply relax at home while allowing the suggestions received to integrate at the cellular level
4. If you have access to internet, and these days even 6 years do, J you can see your therapist during cognitive therapy.
5. Also you will never get to know your therapist personally through small talk of the town. You get to focus on yourself and remain objective.
6. It is easy, effortless and effective. That’s RIGHT!
The selection process:
Usually every hypnotherapist, in fact every consultant offers a 20-30min. obligation free consultation. During this session you speak of your concerns and challenges and allow the therapist to offer their services. Usually a therapist will tell you upfront if your situation is beyond their area of expertise, and all you spent was a few minutes on the telephone. But a client must be educated too. Allow them to present themselves as to how they can assist you in overcoming or working with your challenge. When you feel that they are the right hypnotherapist for you then go ahead and sign them up.
Now, what is telephone hypnosis?
After going through the process of choosing who is the best therapist for you, your session begins. It usually takes 3 to 6 sessions to get to notice change. Hypnotherapy though a miracle cure, it takes time for the miracle to occur and keep occurring. You do notice change right after the first session. Your hypnotherapist will offer you tools to work with between sessions, so that the conscious mind is working with the subconscious mind. This is the most important part of the therapy. Your therapist works with 88% of who you are during the session, and you work with 12% of who you are in between sessions and this is how both of you achieve 100% success.
You are always free to stop your therapy in the middle of the session or after any number of sessions. You do not have to see the therapist for the 3 or 6 sessions, but you may see them longer. As you work through a challenge, it is possible for other issues to surface from the recess of your subconscious. Every human being is walking around with many concerns in their life, but usually they will seek out change whatever is consciously bothering them.
A trained therapist has learned how to listen. As you speak your story they look for patterns and other subliminal messages you are sending out. Using the art of questioning, your therapy progresses and very soon you bring up consciously your hidden reasons for your current situation. In this way working together in complete partnership, you have an accountability partner and feel safe in someone who is trained to help you.
In the state of California, a clinical hypnotherapist is not governed by law to reveal any part of therapy to anyone outside the office. A hypnotherapist is trained in law and ethics and maintains the highest standard there is when it comes to ethics. A hypnotherapist works in conjunction with your primary care providers and must request referrals from your physicians and psychotherapist if you have any before conducting hypnotherapy on you. It is your obligation to reveal that you have other care providers.
Hypnotherapy is not invasive and works with your subconscious mind, the most powerful part of you. Everything in life begins with a thought. And we are all creatures of habit, a habit is something you do consciously. If you could create a habit, do you believe you can change it too?
Can’t wait for things to happen, can you? In fact you cannot not wait for things to happen. You, make things happen. Call 805.275.2289 for your 20mins. free consultation. Better yet, I know you have access to the internet since you are reading this article, so go ahead and email me lifepathguidance@yahoo.com with your phone number and let me know when is the best time to call you and let us have a 20 minute meaningful conversation.
