Opening Space, Holding Space…
Today I am signing the contract for the new lease center. The world will bear witness to where we go from here, the Ventura Healing Center. It is a place of giving, receiving, sharing and evolving.
But how did we come up with this place and its birthing, which was all within the caves of mind, I seek to share now.

Today I am signing the contract for the new lease center. The world will bear witness to where we go from here, the Ventura Healing Center. It is a place of giving, receiving, sharing and evolving.
But how did we come up with this place and its birthing, which was all within the caves of mind, I seek to share now.
Around mid 2006, a fellow classmate of mine at Hypnosis Motivation Institute asked me if I could see myself in eighteen months since then and I told her that I could see myself evolve into a hypnotherapist with my own practice in Ventura. I was enrolled in a one year program then. As part of this curriculum there is a four-week project we do on business planning. We literally have to put together a business plan for 1 year, 3 years and 5 years. My first year plan which began in Jan 2008, concluded in Dec 2008 and I am doing exactly as I have envisaged then. This center was dreamt of then.
I had written out that I would have a center where I would rent out space to other therapists, have a gift shop and a yoga studio/event room and I do, all in this space. And I am so honored and grateful. Honored that the Universe is working with me, Grateful that the universe is on my side.
I graduated in a year and in mid 2007 I enrolled in the programs of master practitioner training in neuro-linguistic programming and time line therapy. Part of this training is theoretical and partly experiential. In time line therapy, we release out negative emotions and limiting decisions, and we also create our goals and project it into the future. As part of this future creation was my healing center in Ventura. And here it is, so are we.
At that time I had no idea how I was going to do this, but I knew I wanted it and that is all that mattered.
In my world the how part is not part of my reality, it is up to the universe to work out the details, I merely send in my request and wait. There is a formula on how this works, the secret is being s.m.a.r.t. This is the key to goal setting, being S.M.A.R.T. during goal setting.
Now I know that I used to set SMART goals before but did they all come to fruition? I will answer you when we speak. With time empowerment techniques and incorporating shamanistic practices goal setting is has transcended to goal getting for my clients and me.
